DEAR DIARY #015
I’MMM BAAAAAAACCCCKKKKK!!!
I marry the man of my dreams in 3 MONTHS…3 MONTHS!!!! It seems like every time I come on here, I give ya a countdown till the big day…but it’s 3 MONTHS! 3MONTHS PEOPLE…that’s graspable!..and in 40 minutes it will be less than 3 MONTHS….eeeeee!
Life has been a bit crazy lately, but now it’s getting semi back to normal.
Last weekend I was at Historymaker with CITY YOUTH. Man oh man, it was amazeballs. Seriously. The best Historymaker I’ve ever been to! Leeland was leading worship…they’re the type of people who just LOVE Jesus…like, really, really love Jesus. Elijah Waters was amazing! (He’ll be at Adore Conference in October) And Eric Samuel Timm rocked it.
I had the privilege of leading a breakout session on PURITY. The room was absolutely packed with girls. It was such an honour to share what God has been placing on my heart this past year. I am so ready to see our generation honour God with purity.
OK, so my eyelids are begging me to go to sleep but I promise..I’ll be back soon. I got loads of wedding crafts posts coming..soogetreadygetreadygetready!
Here are a few projects I hope to get my paws on soon…

Aren’t they adorable? This illustration was designed by the amazingly talented (who conveniently is my maid of honour) RACHEL STUART! She is a serious gem.
Anyways…we’re launching into full out wedding plans galore..so obviously I need to document everything. All wedding planning things will go under the post category..i do.
So check it! This week is a bit hectic for me, so I don’t know when my next post will be but next week is calming down a wee bit..
This Saturday i have the honour to speak to teen girls at Historymaker Conference. My topic is on purity. A HUGE, HUGE, thing that has been on my heart for awhile now. God has taken me on a crazy journey and I want to do whatever I can to encourage these girls to honour God with their bodies, to not do what the world tells them to do and to place value on purity! I also want to teach them that purity doesn’t mean looking like a cray cray on a TLC show or wearing turtle necks 24/7. eeeeeep. I am stoked, but also terrified, so PLEASE PRAY!!!

DRESSED TO BE BLESSED

Today I leave for LIFEWOMEN CONFERENCE. I am beyond excited.
Like, over the moon, seriously stoked, excited.
I’ve been planning my outfits for days. Literally, days. I am dressed to be BLESSED! I’m excited to eat cupcakes, to be as girly as possible, to talk about wedding plans and to laugh with sisters but most of all I’m excited to have my heart stirred, to be refreshed, to be blessed.
I experienced my first women’s conference at 18 in London, England. Little ol, 18 year old me ventured across central London to Wembley Arena to Hillsong Colour Conference. At that point, I didn’t know a single soul in the church but I still went. I’m thanking Jesus for instilling such courage in 18 year old me because there I had my first taste of true sisterhood.
Fast forward 7 years (aggghhh I am getting so old!) and here I am, ready to bring a group of women from my church to experience this sisterhood goodness.
As women we are do-ers. We serve, serve, serve. Sometimes we rarely have a chance to take a rest. Well this weekend, I plan on resting (and working a bit too ha). I plan on getting filled. I plan on getting refreshed. I plan on dreaming with women from my church for our city. I plan on getting inspired. I plan on hearing from God in new and unique ways. I AM BEYOND EXCITED.
off to quickly pack!
