Happy Thanksgiving!
time to reflect…
I sit here in awe of how amazing God is. I have been blessed with sooooo much. Here are just a few things I’m thankful for…
-the best friends a girl could ask for… you know who you are. you inspire me everyday. thank you for your encouragement, your listening ears, your prayers, your advice, your inspiration. you are the coolest people i know (RACHEL!)
-the amazing church i belong to. so blessed to be able to get paid to love Jesus and work in His church. God has taught me so much here. i have the best pastors in the world. i saw my sister get saved in this place. seriously, if you don’t belong to a church, come check mine out (adorevictoria)!
-my family. i love you dearly. thank you for believing in me.
-my boyfriend. words can’t begin to describe how thankful i am for you in my life/i don’t want to make anyone vomit. you are the f’n best.
-JESUS. my everything. my all. my provider. my healer. my Lord. my God. my Savior. thank you. thank you. thank you.

So have a happy thanksgiving. Take some time to reflect on Psalm 136. Be blessed to be a blessing. Go tell someone you love them and go eat that extra piece of pumpkin pie.

In case you’ve been living under a rock the past week and haven’t seen heartbeat yet, here she be…. I am so blessed to be part of this community! It’s a joy and a privilege to serve our amazing God, in His Church, in beautiful Victoria. The best is truly yet to come.
DEAR DIARY #011
Hokey Dina…(seriously why do I keep saying this?) it’s been a looooooooong time since I posted. (Other than that amazing video from yesterday.) I hate, I really hate to say the worst excuse ever….I’ve been a busy girl. But I have. The last week of summer, I was up at camp directing. Then all of a sudden I was back at work and a billion plus a million things had to be done. MAN life is busy. But amidst all the insanity life is ah-mazing.
Last weekend I went over to Abbotsford for the wedding of Ashley & Shawn. Seriously, one of the most beautiful weddings I had ever been too. Ashley has impeccable style. It was an insanely hot day…36 degrees! But that seemed to make the day even more magical. The reception was in a barn with CHANDELIERS (hello!!!!!!!) and the sun set right behind the barn over a cornfield. James and I snuck away to catch the last moments of the sunset. It was stunning.
This past week was spent prepping for CITY YOUTH kick off & Adore’s 2nd Birthday. Both were absolutely amazing. God is up to some saweeeeeet things. Last night (at Adore) there was such a buzz in the place. People were excited to be in church, people were excited to get connected, people were excited to worship, and people were excited to meet with Jesus. If you don’t have a church, come visit Adore. Seriously. Do it. Sundays at 6:30pm :) (www.adorevictoria.com)
So James is away for two weeks recording…I’ve taken the extra time to bake (wooot fall baking), budget (sooo amazing) and (hopefully) work on my books. (YES! books. plural….more news to come!)
On Sunday we’re seeing BON IVER!!!!!!! LIVE! IN THE FLESH! and we’re 8th row…my heart will be sparkling to the extreme. I’m seriously so excited, I could pee my pants. Don’t hate me.
Not much else to report but I promise I’ll be updating more frequently now that I’m back into regular work schedule. I’m sorry, it’s been so long!
