DIARY // THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME

Hello my sweet, sweet friends,

WE’RE HOME!!!!!!

yep, that’s right my husband (<—— love saying that) and i arrived home from our honeymoon late thursday night. we got home to all of our stuff in the middle of every room (our landlords painted the place while we were gone) but nevertheless we placed our mattress in a nook in our dining room and had a good ol sleepover. we slept in that nook for two nights while James painted the main wall in our bedroom with chalkboard paint (we got BIG plans for that wall, just you wait).

i can’t wait to give you a home tour. i seriously LOVE our place…our bedroom is all set up and it’s really a dream.

looking back on the past two and half weeks is madness. so many memories stored up in this sparkling heart of mine. i can’t wait to divulge about the wedding (which for the record, was THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE). i can’t wait to tell you about our incredible honeymoon. ohhhh, there’s so much i want to say…but let me start with this..

i loved every single minute of being back in my home church. James & i are very, very, blessed to be part of an amazing church. we were bombarded with love & kindness from our sweet friends.

James & i found it incredibly hard to transition our minds from honeymoon mode. the season ahead of us is very full but the moment we got back home we knew in our heart it’s going to be an amazing one.

God is amazing. i am blown away from his goodness. He has blessed us with SOOO MUCH.   we are more than ready to be poured out for His glory.

MARRIED!!! Just wanted to say a quick but massive thank you to all our amazing family & friends! Yesterday was absolutely magical and your continual love & support means the world to us. We’re off to our honeymoon now! We’ll be off the grid for a while. See you when we get home!

DIARY // TWO SLEEPS

The past two days have been a bit stressful…ok, very stressful. But today feels good. I woke up with God’s peace…ahhhhhhh. I also woke up incredibly, extremely excited to marry James.

It all seems surreal but tonight is our rehearsal & rehearsal dinner, so I’m sure it fill extremely REAL after that.

I just wanted to say a HUGE THANKS to everyone for your prayers, love & support. James & I are both so blessed by all you incredible people in our lives. :)

BACHELORETTE TIMES

today is my bachelorette party.

seriously guys…i am STOKED.

my bridesmaids are amazing, and have a planned an incredible days..i don’t know much, but i know the theme is DISNEY PRINCESS.

james went on his yesterday, saw an instagram of him riding a scooter in a bright green unitard…yikes…i’m so glad i’m a girl.

one week, at this exact time I will be minutes away from doing that final look in the mirror, saying goodbye to miss laura silletta.

i will be minutes away from walking down the aisle towards the love of my life.

i will be minutes away from clutching my dad’s arm, getting ready for him to hand me over to the one my soul loves.

i will be minutes away from declaring in front of almost 200 people, my commitment, promise & love to James.
