SINGLE DIGITS

the day has finally come…we’re down to SINGLE DIGITS people…did you hear me? SINGLE DIGITS aka 9 sleeps until I marry James P. Liira….boooooyah!

my house (ours in 9 days) is a mess. craft vomit everywhere. there is a mountain of poms in the “office”, the dining room is my tissue dying station, the deck is my gold spray paint section & don’t even get me started on the living room…which is where i’m also currently sleeping..

last night Rachel started the boutonnieres..and they’re amazing! she’s also sewing all the guys bow ties…INCREDIBLE GIRL RIGHT THURRRR.

tonight we have our final pre-marital counselling and tomorrow is my last day in the office….i’m off for 3 weeks!

my mind is here…but it’s also on Mexico & LA…..

can’t wait to make this dream come true…

BRIDE BRAIN

my goodness.

i have a serious case of bride brain. if you know me, you know that i’m a fairly organized person. i’m an activator aka i get things done. (as you know from yesterday) i make lists. my mind is usually on it.

but in the past couple days a ~~freaking, annoying~~ fog seems to have seeped into my membrane. i’m forgetting things. i have never lost my keys..ever. but yesterday while running errands, i get to my car and discover, no keys, no cell phone. thankfully i left them at the till at the grocery store. i get home late last night and put my groceries on the kitchen floor (because i have to pee like a race horse) knowing i’ll put them in the fridge once my bladder was emptied. i wake up and guess what? groceries still on the ground.

though my lunch hours consist of fitting in as many errands as i can, though every single evening is planned out down to the hour, though i feel as if my brain might explode…

i’m enjoying this insanity. i really am. i’m not forgetting that in 10 days (YEAH 10 DAYS !!!!!!!!!!)…i get to marry this dreamboat..

so tell me wifeys..did you ever have a case of bride brain? what are your remedies?

DIARY // LISTS

Hope you are enjoying the new look of the blog…I’m trying to learn html to make it more user friendly!

Just stopping in to say hi…and i’m alive. I’m deep in the wedding planning jungle but remaining relatively calm.

James & I have become great list takers. I have lists & lists of things to do. Every time I complete them, I reward myself…whether it’s a 30 second dance party or a kiss on the cheek from my love. Rewards are good.

Tonight we’re having dinner at James’ parents house…his lovely sister Joy has arrived back from Hillsong Australia for the wedding…woohooo! Then after I’m going to see my florist…yaaaay! Then more wedding planning..but at least I get to do most of these things with my favourite person in the world. :)

And here is something that makes me REALLY HAPPY….SUNSHINE ON AUGUST 24th HIP-HIP-HOORAY!!!!!

GETTING SETTLED

So I’m all moved into the new home….yipeeeeee!

I seriously love this place. Like…really, really love this place.

It’s located right near Beacon Hill Park & Cook Street Village (Both a 2 minute walk away!!)

My absolute favourite part is the lovely deck (which is quite large) that’s off the bedroom.

It also has a view of the park!!

So I’ve been unpacking & setting up like a mad woman. Can’t believe MY HUSBAND will be moving in, in 17 days!!! The bedroom is covered with all my clothes. I’ve already taken up the entire closet…oh my. I’m currently sleeping on the hide-a-bed in the living room until we can purchase a bed!

We have been absolutely blessed by loved ones. SERIOUSLY, INCREDIBLY BLESSED!! We basically have a full stocked kitchen thanks to our amazing family & friends!

My momma fulfilled a HUGE HUGE dream of mine by giving us a KITCHENAID MIXER!!!! OMGEEEE!!!!! I screamed very loudly when I found out. And it’s mint green :) Can’t wait to bake up some fall goodies next month! THANKS MUM!!!

And the Espresso Machine beside it made me scream as well! ha. Huge blessing from my good friend Alyssa and her lovely family. THANK YOU GUYS!!!

Tonight I’m having some girls over for a crafterevening! wooohooo, it seems like the next 17 days will be filled with these..but man, oh man, am I ever excited to marry James.

Last night we had a date night and it was incredible. Can’t believe I get to do life with this amazing man…I’m seriously the luckiest girl on the planet :)

One of the hardest things is saying goodnight to him & seeing him drive off! Can’t believe in SEVENTEEN days that’ll be no more…!!!!!

Until then I have this roommate to keep me company..
