SNEAK PEAK
Coming to a mailbox near you…..OUR WEDDING INVITATIONS!!!! I picked them up at the printer yesterday and I couldn’t wait to show James.
We opted to design our own invites. Part of my job consists of graphic design and James is pretty dang amazing at photoshop so we mixed our creativity and produced a beautiful baby…which we are ever so proud of….ha…
Over the next few days I’ll be assembling, tying and stuffing! Just waiting for the envelopes to come in, and then we’ll send them out!
79 days. It still seems like ages away. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! but i know it will fly by…seriously, I CANNOT WAIT TO MARRY JAMES… every time i think about it…which is very often…my heart melts…

yes that is me holding a paintball gun. will you ever see me hold a paintball gun again? oh, heck no. we got the gun for our city youth city campout (it’s in august! register thursday city youthers!)
i was trying to get into the “i really want to shoot something mood” because tonight I’m watching the avengers with my man & some friends! wooohoooo

DIARY // WEEKEND FUN
Just a couple snapshots from the weekend…sooooo I reallllly, reallllly want to get an iPhone but my contract isn’t up yet with my blackberry and my fiancé is trying to convince me to wait for the 5…or as he said it “I’ll get the 5 and then you can have my 4s!” HA, YA RIGHT JAMES.
Just a couple things that I did this weekend…
The gym Friday night killed me and my besties…for reals.(Our friend Greg trained us…he wasn’t even that brutal on us and we could barely walk yesterday!)
But we’re buying a pass and going back tonight! We’re committed to going once a week and then running 2x on top of that…wooohoooo! Hello OWDB (Operation Wedding Dress Body)
Church picnic on Saturday was delightful! I heart my church family.
I took my sweet lil nephew to gymnastics on Sunday morning. He’s getting oh, so big! I can’t believe he’s turning 5 in July!
Sunday afternoon, James & I drove around tracking down numbers of places for rent…I’m going to move into our place August 1st! (If you know of any sweet pads available, let me know!!!) Ohhhh I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I am to decorate this place that will belong to me and my HUSBAND!
We start out marriage counselling this Wednesday….sooo excited!

DIARY // SAD GOODBYE
Dearest Diary,
So last night I said goodbye to a few things.. a hot dog, galaxy bar (thank you so much lauren for giving me that!!) & a blizzard…
The wedding is in less than 3 months, LESS THAN 3 MONTHS PEOPLE and I want to be in the best shape of my life… so I had to kick a few bad habits…no sweets, no chocolate, no chips, no crap fast food for the next three months! (except I’m allowed to eat cake on birthdays, and sweets at my bridal shower..I know, but i’ll go cray cray cray if i don’t have a bite all summer long!) James is going to hold be accountable, it’s going to be so hard (I literally eat chocolate every single day) but I CAN DO IT!
Tonight me and my besties (Rach & Thea) will be heading to the gym to be trained by our good friend, Greg. We’re going to die. Straight up.
This weekend is going to be a busy one..working today, cleaning my house, gym, working tomorrow, church picnic, art show, maybe oak bay tea party fireworks?, babysitting my nephew sunday, then church….yowza!

BAND
lo & behold…we picked out my wedding band out last night and submitted the order..WOOOHOOO!!!
My engagement ring is totally my dream..I am absolutely in love with it. it’s a very thin band with diamonds going almost all the way around with a big diamond in the centre.
for the wedding band, I wanted something a bit different..on my search I came across these gems…
