HELLO WEEKEND
Happy Friday everybody! Can't believe this will be the LAST work free weekend for awhile. I go back to work on Monday but normally I'll work Sunday-Thursday. I'm super stoked about going back because I love my job so much BUT the little lion is being EXTRA sweet these days which makes it so hard! He's been giving me loads of kisses and last night before bed just snuggled right into my shoulder for a long time. AGHHHHHH. Thankfully we'll still have all day Fridays and Saturdays together!

This weekend I want to make fun memories but we're also in the middle of renovating our living room so we'll probably meet in the middle with some low key activities. Can't believe it's May on Monday! I have a lot to catch y'all up on...mainly the living room plans and update but also Luca's 10 month update. Hopefully I'll have that posted before he's 11 months!!
Our weather has finally been getting warmer! Almost warm enough to bust out my new birks! I got these 50% off last October so I've been waiting foreveerrrr to wear them! I'm thinking a nice maxi like this one and the birks will be my summer wardrobe...oh gosh, already so nervous about being super preggers throughout the summer!

HELLO WEEKEND
We made it to Friday and it's officially DECEMBER ANNNNND it may snow here next week! That's a big deal because it rarely snows in my city (Victoria, BC). Normally I'm all like "Boooo snow" but because I'm on mat leave and can stay cozy inside, I'm all like "LET IT SNOOOOOOWWW!"

I got all festive on you this week with the December calendar and this Elf print and I made 80 oreo truffles that I can't wait to share with you (the receipe....I wish I could share the truffles with you but they are all gone!!)
On Tuesday night, we went to Butchart Gardens with James' family....oh my goodness, those Christmas lights are A MUST SEE if you're local to Victoria! I've been before but this year it felt extra magical!

Happy Friday y'all. Can you believe December is less than TWO weeks AWAY....my goodness gracious. This past week was pretty chill around here and I am totally okay with that. I have a packed Saturday with holiday photos, a baby shower, 1st birthday and my bro & sis in law are here!! But on Sunday afternoon, I'm going to ask James to make a fire and get out the Christmas box because that just needs to happen.

Have you started decorating yet? Or are you on of those who waits until December 1st? I usually wait until December 1st but this year I just want to celebrate as long as I possibly can...I may have already finished a carton of eggnog (!!!!)

HELLO WEEKEND
Well hello there Friday. So nice to see you! It's supposed to be rainy this weekend, which I'm kinda bummed about because I wanted to have a nice little end of summer picnic. See this weekend is a special weekend to me because this time last year it was Rifflandia aka the weekend when Luca was conceived....hahah is that TMI? Part of me would love to do Riff again this year with our little lion in tow but the lineup isn't really doing it for me so we'll probably lay low.
Did you know the ROYALS aka Will & Kate aka YOUR ROYAL HIGHNESS are coming to my city next week! They're touring BC and Victoria will be their base. Any of you locals going to stake them out?? I really hope to have a #royalsighting
So are you fiercely holding onto the last few days of summer or are you in fall mode? I'm definitely feeling the fall vibes. I bought three cans of pumpkin puree because it's about time I made these amazing muffins and I may or may not be on the hunt for a copycat starbucks pumpkin scone recipe...! I also want to paint my nails this colour. And bust out my vegan leather (fancy name for pleather, ha) leggings.
